The HARPEGGIOS CONCERT

The HARPEGGIOS CONCERT was attended by one hundred people and voluntary donations towards organ restoration amounted to a record breaking £1,000! During the interval, Keith opened the organ case to reveal the many ailments! Music was from all over the British Isles, traditional, folky and relaxing. We very much hope that Sue will be able to persuade her fellow harpist to come again next year and we have also been approached by a concert harpist who is interested in playing here. Thanks go to the gifted bakers who provided Shortbread, Shrewsbury Biscuits, Bara Brith and Devonshire Scones topped with jam and clotted cream. We do appreciate that so many attended.
