SPONSORED RIDE AND STRIDE

On Saturday 11 September, Hanbury church was visited by cyclists participating in the WORCESTERSHIRE AND DUDLEY HISTORICCHURCHES TRUST SPONSORED RIDE AND STRIDE raising funds for restoration of our precious church buildings. Thank you to Jane and Toby for their loyal involvement and to all riders and sponsors. Fifty percent of funds raised will go to a specified church and the remainder to 'the trust' to be allocated at their discretion. Welcoming drinks and sometimes snacks are provided but these had to be moved outside to a bench in memory of Tony, our dear departed village hall caretaker, while a wedding was taking place!
