The sun was shining for Worcestershire’s Seventh Poet Laureate, NINA READ AND HER WORKSHOP POETS, when they came into church on Bank Holiday Monday to share their work.Their poetry had been inspired by sculptures displayed on last year’s Jinney Ring Sculpture Trail and is currently on display at the Craft Centre.Eight talented poets came from beyond the county boundaries and we hope to welcome them once again next year, for a poetry writing session inspired by the life and history of Hanbury church.
