All at Hanbury Church would like to congratulate Ed & Sarah Wilkes, on their recent wedding in our delightful church, on 6th May 2017.

The proposal was equally spectacular. After arranging a 1hr flight, in a 2 seater plane, to sight-see the Gower Peninsular as a birthday treat, Ed had secretly organised a proposal message, to be written in the sand on a beach Sarah was to fly over. The message was quickly written, with help from family & friends. On Sarah's return, the plane door was opened and out she lept with a beaming smile saying 'yes, yes, yes!'. Ed, with the help of family members, had arranged a surprise engagement party, which also was a huge success.

Thank you to Ed & Sarah for allowing us to share your story, and we wish you all the best in your future together.
