THIS MONTH, Reverends Rich and Paula will lead Hanbury Church and Hanbury First School in their launch of the diocesan ‘CHURCH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP’.

The scheme looks to encourage school and church to identify ways in which they become one community and celebrate the impact of collaboration between the two. This is both about our current efforts and exploring new possibilities, as church and school collaborate to enrich their community. There are medals to win and new ideas to pursue.If interested in participating, please contact any PCC member in advance. The first session will be on Thursday 27 February from 1.30 – 2.30 pm in Hanbury village hall.

During this year, there will be a particular focus on music and fundraising for the RESTORATION OF THE PIPE ORGAN. We are planning Saturday and Sunday lunchtime recitals, as well as evening concerts. If you are a music lover, please look out for advertising banners and the opportunity to help us reach our target in any way that you can, especially as we are blessed with a super organist who has so much enthusiasm for the project.
